Hannah’s work for our team on a complicated and multifaceted project was superb.
We needed accurate, thorough, and timely field-based data in order to develop a professional learning program for K-12 teachers in a country in sub-Saharan Africa. She initially designed a thoughtful and comprehensive data collection methodology and set of quality control checks guided by our information needs. Over the span of 2 months she visited 27 schools in 4 different school districts, interviewed over 50 teachers, academics, and government officials, and then produced a clear, concise, and well-written summary report and set of recommendations. All under budget and on time, exceeding what were admittedly our already high expectations.
She was extremely easy to work with, a quick read of key contexts and potential obstacles, and worked exceptionally well independently once she understood our overall goals and constraining variables. One of her strongest skills — in an impressive toolset of skills — is the ability to ask focused, direct, and insightful questions that get to the central elements of any matter at hand. No stone is left unturned.
Hannah’s interpersonal skills are extraordinary and she clearly is able to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders in different collaborative situations, yet possesses the confidence and moxie to decide when it’s time to move forward and act.
